Imperva, data security firm’ s revelations are rocking every one. They say that the top ten most commonly used passwords are: 123456, 12345, 123456789, Password, iloveyou,princess,rockyou,1234567,12345678 and abc123.
How the rockyou came in to the above?
These revelations are based on a breach in to the website of
Cybercriminals accessed the account details of 30 million users!
Earlier also we know that, most of us use names, dictionary words, slang words,consecutive keys or adjacent letters. This has serious repercussions. Ars Technica reports that 32 million passwords show users are careless about security. Good read for Information Security professionals like us.
